I actually remember reading that scenario in the book, and it’s true. Unfortunately, I did not heed your advice. I opened up an email on Thanksgiving and got a very upsetting email that truly ruined my holiday and the next few days. I learned the hard way not to check email on important holidays or days I have reserved to spend with my girls.
